Learn with
Khadeejah
A gentle learning game for young children, built on Islamic values. Short, spoken activities help your child learn a little every day.
- Ages 3 and up
- Everything spoken
- Works offline
- No ads
For Android phones and tablets with Android 8 or newer.
Made for small hands
Your child doesn't need to read
Every instruction is spoken. Your child's own character, a boy in a thobe and kufi or a girl in a hijab, guides each step, and a tap on the character says it again.
Everything spoken
Questions, praise and help are read aloud, by the phone's voice or in your own recorded voice.
Levels that follow your child
Activities have levels that move up or down by themselves. A mistake is fine: a gentle "Almost! Try again."
Big, calm and kind
Big buttons, soft sounds, no clock that rushes, and a mistake never costs a coin. A calm mode makes it quieter still.
The books
What your child learns
Short activities in each subject book, on your child's class path, with the class below as revision. Parents can see the syllabus for each class in the app.
Maths
Counting and comparing, adding and taking away with a helper that builds the sum, place value, number patterns, time, money, measuring and shapes.
English
Letters and their sounds, tracing, blending sounds into words, spelling, simple grammar and putting a story in order.
Science
Animals and plants, my body and the senses, healthy food, weather and seasons, and the world around us.
Thinking
Patterns, sorting, odd one out, mazes, first coding games and number puzzles.
Art
Colouring pages, collage, thumb printing and free drawing.
Islamic Coming
It opens when our scholars' recordings are ready, in sha Allah.
How it works
Learning that feels like play
5, 10, 15 or 20 questions
Choose how many before an activity, and a countdown shows how many are left.
Hints that explain
The hint says the question again with a clue on how to think about it, and the right answer glows gently.
Answers in words
Turn on 📖 and after each question a card shows what was asked, the right answer and, where the lesson explains it, why.
Stickers and certificates
A sticker for each new activity done, up to 60 in the sticker book, and a certificate for each finished book.
My 5 minutes
One tap plays a short mix: the next lesson, one to remember, and one from another book.
Games between lessons
A learning jar that fills each day, a Good habits garden and Memory, and from JKG Quiz climb and Flip cards.
For parents
You stay in charge
The parent area asks a grown-up question before any change. Inside it you can:
- see each child's progress and the syllabus for their class, with ideas to try at home;
- choose each child's class, character and colours, and how hard each book is;
- make your own lessons and quizzes, with photos from your phone;
- record your own voice, so your child hears a voice they know;
- set a daily goal, play time and hours, eye breaks and a daily reminder;
- promise a real reward for learning or good habits;
- add up to three children, each with their own progress.
Safe and private
Your child's learning stays on the phone
- No ads, no accounts, no tracking.
- Works offline: the app has no internet access of its own.
- The microphone is used only when a parent records their voice, and the recordings stay on the phone.
- Children never see a price: a locked lesson only says "Ask Abba or Ammi".
The family plan
One plan for all your children
Start it in the parent area: the first time, Google Play gives 7 days free. Google Play takes the payment, and you can cancel any time.
About ₹1 a day
Cancel any time
The plan opens every book, Memory, Quiz climb, Flip cards and My 5 minutes. Without it, the Art book, your own lessons, the Good habits garden and Promises stay open, and the Islamic book will too when it comes. Prices are for India; Google Play shows the price for your country.
Questions
Questions parents ask
Which ages and classes is it for?
Today it covers Pre-Nursery to Class 2, about ages 3 to 8. More classes are on the way, and each update adds new lessons. Each child has their own class, and the books follow it, with the class below as revision.
Does my child need to read?
No. Everything is spoken, and pictures and big buttons do the rest. Words on screen are there to help parents.
Does it need the internet?
No, the app works offline. Google Play needs the internet now and then to start or check the family plan.
Can my child hear my voice?
Yes. In the parent area you can record the lines yourself, lesson by lesson, so your child hears a voice they know.
How many children can use it?
Up to three on one phone, each with their own class, character and progress. One family plan covers them all.
When does the Islamic book open?
When our scholars' recordings are ready, in sha Allah. Duas and Quran are only ever read in a real person's voice, never the phone's computer voice. The Islamic book will be free for every family, with or without the family plan.
How do I cancel the family plan?
In the Play Store: your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Learn with Khadeejah, Cancel subscription. The app's parent area has a button for it too: Family plan, Manage or cancel in Google Play. If your plan started with the 7 free days, cancel before they end and nothing is charged.
